Last month our secondary students had a Sing Along session. A couple of singers came to school to sing some songs together with the students. It was a very fun day and most of the pupils had the opportunity to sing a song in English.

ASTRONOMY
This month in the school we worked on Astronomy. It is for this reason that during some of the English classes of 1st and 2nd of ESO, students watched a short video: "Models of the Solar System; Earth, Sun and Moon".
While watching it, they had to answer some questions. After that, they shared their answers with their class-mates.

SPEAKING
This week 1st of ESO students did an oral presentation about a special object in their lives. They talked about the importance of the object for themselves for around one minute.

ASTRONOMY
This week in the school we have been working on Astronomy. It is for this reason that during the English class 3rd and 4th of ESO students watched a 22 minute episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy & Outer Space. While watching it, they had to answer some listening comprehension questions about space, planets, light, distances, etc. After completing this questionnaire, they have shared their answers with their class-mates and they have discussed some interesting astronomical concepts.
